Welcome!

Hey guys!
I can't explain to you how amazing it is to see how God is providing for this trip. I love seeing his hand in this whole process.

I've been trying to think of ways to keep everyone updated on what is going on while I am in Peru this summer, and decided a blog was probably the best way to go.

I don't know how often I will be able to update because of the limited internet access. I know while I am in Cusco, there will be an internet cafe that I can use, and I am assuming there are some in Kawai, but when I am in the jungle (for 13 days), I'm not sure how many updates I will be able to make, but I will do my best.

This is my schedule as of now:

Kawai (near the beach) --July 4-7

Lima (the capital) --July 8th

Cusco (in the mountains near Machu Picchu-where I was last year!)--July 9-17

Puerto Alegria (in the middle of the jungle on the amazon river) --July 18-31


I want to thank you for your continued prayers as God continues to provide support. I go to the doctor tomorrow to see what I need to do about shots, and I would REALLY appreciate prayer for this--as I really hate shots--but I know it will all be worth it! :)

The verse that has really been on my heart for awhile is Isaiah 6:8:
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’ ”

My desire is that God will really use me this summer, in whatever way he sees fit. Here I am. Send me!
